The Big Yellow Sticky Secret

Hopefully you’ve been following along, but I just published my 365th consecutive post on my side project site BigYellowSticky.com. Before I pull a muscle patting myself on the back, I just wanted to say it was a lot of fun and quite an experience producing a daily piece of art and offering it up to the world. But the big secret (as revealed in the final sticky note) is that every single 3″ x 3″ Sharpie®-scrawled note has been a piece of advice to myself.

Little reminders to practice what I preach. Small nudges to focus on topics that were at the top of my mind. Itty-bitty bullet points from lessons learned via mistakes I didn’t want to make twice.

I’ve been writing every single one of these 365 Big Yellow Sticky notes to myself in 2015 (I hope you’ve gotten some helpful advice from them, too!), but next year — 2016 — is all about YOU.
