Radio WOW! Launches
My friend and fellow Gitomer Certified Speaker, Tomas Lydahl, has been doing an internet radio show in Sweden for the past few months and has successfully built an audience using the BlogTalkRadio.com format. Since Tomas also does training and speaking in the USA, he decided to do an English language version and asked me to co-host the show with him.
I’ve been wanting to do a podcast (some of you may have seen my experiments using Spreaker and Tumblr) so I thought this would provide a great opportunity to gain some experience with interviewing people in an audio format and to test the podcasting waters for myself.
Tomas and I have spent the last month recording our initial collection of interviews while fine-tuning our cross-continental co-hosting chemistry. Our thanks to the early victims of our auditory experimentation! The first few guests we’ve had on the show have been patient and adventurous souls — and they have provided some great content despite my newbie-status as an interviewer.
February 3 marks the launch of the actual show from Radio WOW! USA — “Kickstart Your Week.” Tomas and I will be posting a new episode each Sunday afternoon with the intent to share some interesting and inspirational stories of success from our guests. As the title implies, our goal is to help our listeners kickstart the coming week by revving them up on Sunday so that Monday morning is excitingly anticipated as a chance to put some ideas into action — instead of day to be dreaded and blamed for ruining a perfectly good weekend.
